These landscape sculptural panels are part of a long term process to find, or create a visual language to express aspects of landscape through clay – I have always drawn or painted it but ceramics are an ideal way of reflecting certain aspects. Crops, soils, agriculture-seasonal changes, archaeology, ariel photography, can all be sources. I use different approaches and materials and techniques depending on the project in hand.
For the human body and landscape see Figurative gallery. They are made to be wall mounted in interior settings.
